Jared Murillo's Dad Says Son and Ashley Tisdale 'Might Hook Up Again
Jared Murillo's father, Alex, tells People that his son and ex-girlfriend Ashley Tisdale
"might hook up again" though they have just ended their romance
recently. "They are in the same circle, they have the same friends. And
you know what? You never know how life turns out ..... you just never
know," says the older Murillo.
"They remain good friends," Alex reveals on how Jared and Ashley get
along after they broke up. "I think it was just the right time to do
what they did."
Asked on what Jared has been doing these days, Alex tells People,
"Jared is very, very happy, and is very pleased with what's going on
with his work. I think for him it's a good time now to move forward.
His background has always been performing on the road, so he's very
comfortable. It's like his home. It is home."
Speaking of his son's band V Factory, Alex gushes, "They've got some
dynamite songs. They're going to be the big surprise of the summer."
Ashley Tisdale and Jared Murillo had been dating for more than two
years when news of their separation was made public by US Weekly late
last week. Nevertheless, both of them have never addressed the matter
publicly.
Ashley is giving her very first concert at the KISS Concert 2009
on Sunday, May 17th, 2009 at 2:00 PM. Other artist at the concert are
Black Eyed Peas (Fergie is also doing a solo), Ciara, Flo Rida, White
Tie Affair, All-American Rejects, The Veronicas, Akon, Jesse McCartney,

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Ashley Tisdale may be a beautiful young starlet, but her romantic life hasn’t been picture perfect.“I actually have experienced being cheated on before,” Ashley told Billy Bush for Access Hollywood and “The Billy Bush Show,” during a visit earlier this week.The former “High School Musical” franchise star said she knows the pain behind her new single, “It’s Alright, It’s OK,” a fist-pumping break-up anthem. “It helps you to get over it for sure,” Ashley said of the tune.The actress/singer said she hopes her song, which features the lyrics, “It’s alright/It’s OK/I’m so much better without you/I won’t be sorry,” will be inspiring to newly-single young women.“I hope they like it,” she said. “Usually, you know, when I’m in that situation and there’s a break up or cheating, I would be the one to put on Kelly Clarkson ‘Since U Been Gone,’ and kind of rock out to it… It made me feel so much better. So hopefully girls, you know, will think about my song like that.”And Ashley revealed she’s moved on from the boy who inspired the song.“Forgive and forget,” she said. “ “I’m friends with the guy who cheated on me… Not great friends because then he started dating my best friend… It was bad.”Things have gone slightly better with her latest ex, actor Jared Murillo, who Ashley split up with only recently.“Yeah, it’s kind of weird, like, you know, strange,” Ashley said of promoting a break-up song immediately following the end of her most recent romance. “He’s a really great guy and we just kind of grew apart. We’re trying to remain friends because I have a lot of respect for him and we do care for each other it’s just sometimes you just kind of grow apart and we’re young.”
Ashley Tisdale and Her Ex Are Still 'Good Friends'
Ashley Tisdale recently split from her boyfriend, Jared Murillo of the boy band V Factory, but the pair are as friendly as ever.
"They remain good friends," Murillo's dad Alex tells PEOPLE
exclusively, of his son, 20, and Tisdale, 23. "They are in the same
circle, they have the same friends. And you know what? You never know
how life turns out. They might hook up again, you just never know."
Adds Murillo's dad, "I think it was just the right time to do what they did."
The couple's split comes at a time when Murillo's band (he also previously co-starred in High School Musical
with Tisdale) is becoming increasingly busy: They're gearing up to
shoot the video for V Factory's new single, "Lovestruck." Also on tap
is a tour and a Warner Brothers Records-released album, both slated for
this summer.
"Jared is very, very happy, and is very pleased with what's
going on with his work," the elder Murillo tells PEOPLE. "I think for
him it's a good time now to move forward. His background has always
been performing on the road, so he's very comfortable. It's like his
home. It is home."
And not surprisingly, Murillo's dad is one of V Factory's
biggest fans. "They've got some dynamite songs," he says of the
five-member group, which has a pop/R&B/urban sound. "They're going
to be the big surprise of the summer."

The door opens and the girl with the most amazing smile in Hollywood walks into the BRAVO office. Wow, Ashley Tisdale looks just great! Wearing a little black dress and breathtaking high heels she greets the Team and turns on her charm. ‘Hey BRAVO, it’s so cool to be here..’. And there it is the smile she captures the world with. And it drives the boys crazy. And boys there are good news. The 23 year old is single again!

Actually, I’m brunet, but Disney wanted me to be blond for Sharpay. But my hair suffered from it and got chapped. Now I like my look way better.’ And the dark hair perfectly matches with her new music, too.
With "Guilty Pleasure" (out June 12) she goes edgy like P!nk for the first time and sings about painful experiences with guys. ‘ The album is 100% Ashley. I get even with bad Boys, I fell for in the past. But that’s not gonna happen again. I’m strong and confident.’ That’s conspicuous. Ashley knows exactly what she wants. April 14th, 2009: Just before heading over to LAX to leave town Tuesday afternoon, Ashley Tisdale popped into Dermatology & Laser Center of Studio City.
Ashley Tisdale chats up Adam Gregory in this new behind-the-scenes still from her upcoming music video for “It’s Alright, It’s OK.”
The 23-year-old singer took over Radio Disney yesterday afternoon and dished to host Ernie D about how she writes her songs, the feel of her new album and Phineas and Ferb. Check it:
On her process for writing songs: “I don’t write
about that situation [breakups] right away. I’m someone who will write
poems. I’ll sit there and just have a journal and my cell phone and just write about it. A couple of weeks later, I’ll take that and bring it into a song and lyrics.”
On the overall feel of her new album, Guilty Pleasure: “I’ve been recording my songs since last year which was in between filming HSM3 and They Came From Upstairs.
It’s been eight months, completely [working] on the album. It’s been a
long time. You have to spend time on your album. If you just throw it
together, I just don’t think your heart’s in it. For me, I knew I
wouldn’t stop until I was completely happy. I recorded 25 songs.”
On voicing big sis Candace on Phineas and Ferb:
“Candace is one of those characters that you can never be too big with.
She’s kind of out there. The writing on the script was originally not
as big as I made her. (laughs)

“We are really good friends. He’s directed all my videos and we have a great relationship,” Ashley said.
“I am single right now. I am not jumping into anything. But ya,
he is a really very good friend and he is definitely very hot,” she
added.
Ashley also said her new album contains songs about her recent
breakup with Jared Murillo and she plans a US tour in support of the
album in August.

Ashley shared, “I actually met Angelina Jolie in an airport in Germany. We were both in the VIP room and I thought, ‘If i don’t do this, I’m going to regret this for the rest of my life.’ I went into her room and the woman I was with was, ‘Someone wants to me you.’ She asked, ‘What are you here for?’ I said, ‘I’m going to Rome for the High School Musical 3 premiere. I’m the blond one, I just darkened my hair.’ She was like, ‘Oh my gosh, Zahara loves your outfits!’ Because the kids were watching the movies. I was like, ‘I love Zahara.’”

Hey guys! I just uploaded some pics from my Europe tour, sorry they're late! I've been on a very needed vaca with my family for Easter in Cabo, Mexico. My time in Europe was so much fun, it was 8 days of nonstop press but having Shane, Larissa, and Karan there made it so much fun and such a breeze. I couldn't stop laughing that whole trip, which was good because I haven't laughed like that in a long time.My vacation in Cabo was also so much fun, I will have pictures for you a lil later. BURBANK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ashley Tisdale, the singer and actress known to millions as the star of the blockbuster High School Musical series, will release a brand-new single, "It's Alright, It's OK," to Top 40 radio and all digital retailers on April 14th. Co-written by Swedish production team Twin, the song is a spunky break-up anthem about being single and in control of your life for the first time.
"I love break-up songs," Tisdale says. "Everyone can relate to those moments when you need to vent your frustration about a previous relationship. "It's Alright, It's OK" is about how you need to stand up for yourself and not let someone walk all over you; it's a message I wanted to get across to other girls."
An accompanying video to "It's Alright, It's OK" will premiere on MySpace's on April 21st with feature support from such major online partners as AOL Music and Yahoo! Music, and MTV.com will premiere exclusive "making of the video" footage the week of the single's release. Tisdale stars in the video with actor Adam Gregory (the CW's 90210), who plays her ex-boyfriend. Ashley Tisdale is off on a family adventure over Easter and admits that in the US they eat "a lot of candy" during the annual holiday. The American actress said: "I'm very excited. It's so funny, cos I'm not a big candy-eater but I just love getting candy on Easter. "Like, it's just one of those things. Ever since I was like little I just always had to have a big bucket of candy. "But then I wouldn't touch it, I'd just stare at it at entire time."

Ashley Tisdale Fights Aliens In 'They Came From Upstairs'
Ashley Tisdale is leaving "High School Musical" behind to fend off aliens in her new flick, "They Came from Upstairs." But Tisdale promises that this alien movie is part comedy too.
"I think it's funny," she told MTV News about the flick, which opens July 31. "If you saw them you'd think they were funny."
Not only does she get a chance to use her comedic skills in the film, but Tisdale also gets a chance to embrace her inner action hero. "I had this whole action scene," she explained. "It was all CGI. I had all this choreography. I'm sure it's going to come out really cool."
Before she has to fight the aliens, it takes her character, Bethany, awhile to figure out just what is going on. "So I don't know what's going on and I'm kind of like the bitchy sister," Tisdale said. "I'm not really nice. ... You don't really like me in the beginning, 'cause I'm so in love with this guy [played by Robert Hoffman]."
Much like with the aliens, Tisdale doesn't fully understand just what Bethany is getting to with Robert's character, Ricky. "Robert's [character is] actually the guy who is like the ['Leave It to Beaver' wise guy] Eddie Haskell, so he's like really nice to me and my mom and dad and then to my brother he's horrible, so you start to see his true colors."
