Ashley Tisdale: Happy to Be Back Home

Back home in the States after a lengthy stay in Canada, Ashley Tisdale was spotted departing a North Hollywood, California studio on Thursday (July 8). Clad in her gym gear, the "Aliens In the Attic" actress wasn’t all that happy to see shutterbugs awaiting her exit, as she simply ignored the attention by chatting on her cell phone with a drink in her hand. Having made the trip back home the previous day, Tizzie tweeted of the day's agenda, "Gym! Now recording phineas and ferb!" The 25-year-old later added, "Wearing my new cardigan from the winter kate collection I got on shopbop! Best part of coming home is getting all the goodies ur got online!" Ashley Tisdale Starts Production On "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure
Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN) - When news of the upcoming
“High School Musical” spin-off “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure” first
broke, it seemed like a cruel April Fool’s Joke on fans of the bubbly,
blonde character (it was announced last April 1st). But it’s official,
Ashley Tisdale is in the pink again and reprising her role as Sharpay
Evans. Production has already begun on the upcoming Disney
Channel original movie, set to air sometime in 2011. Tisdale will star
and executive produce in the movie, which features a Broadway-bound
Sharpay hitting the Great White Way to achieve her dreams of stardom.
But the doors are opening for her dog Boi instead and Sharpay sets out
to make him the biggest little star on Broadway yet. Also
starring alongside Tisdale is Disney Channel star Bradley Steven Perry
as her young nemesis, Austin Butler as a film student she befriends,
Cameron Goodman as a Broadway star, Alec Mapa as the show’s eccentric
director, and Jack Plotnick as the show’s scribe. The movie is
also set to feature four original songs: “I’m Gonna Shine,” “My Boy and
Me,” “The Rest of My Life,” and “New York’s Best Kept Secret.” The movie
is directed by Michael Lembeck, who recently helmed “Tooth Fairy” for
Disney starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and written by Robert Horn.
The “High School Musical” spin-off is the franchise’s first since
“High School Musical 3″ hit theaters in 2008. While rumors are abound
that another Wildcat will be making an appearance, such as Lucas Grabeel
who played Sharpay’s brother Ryan Evans, nothing has been confirmed.
Tisdale has kept herself busy following her last big-screen
appearance as Sharpay. Last summer she released her second album “Guilty
Pleasure,” which was voted one of the best albums of last year by
Billboard readers, and starred in “Aliens in the Attic.” She’ll also
star in the upcoming cheerleading dramedy “Hellcats” for the CW. Source: allheadlinenews.com

Ashley is number 31 in top 100 sexiest women in the world
Tisdale made a name for herself on Disney's 'hit' show The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, (which nobody cares about), before moving on to star in the High School Musical mega-movies (which nobody cares about). Aside from her Disney channel appearances, she released a pretty dismal pop album (highlight below) and had a nose job...and then sort of fell off the radar. It appears that sashaying up the red carpet in some variation of butt clinging dress has kept her in the limelight and for this we are exceedingly grateful.

Ashley Tisdale: Toronto Terrific
Ashley Tisdale lets out a small laugh as she picks up a Starbucks to go while out in Toronto with her mom Lisa on Wednesday morning (May 26). The 24-year-old actress is getting ready to start filming on Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventures. The new DCOM will follow Ash’s alter ego, Sharpay Evans who about to meet her destiny on Broadway, and luckily, theater lighting highlights her hair and skin tonebeautifully. Her big break comes after a talent scout spots her performing with her dog Boi at a charity gala, and now there’s not a marquee big enough or lights bright enough to contain the glorious fame she plans on having. Sharpay and Boi head to New York, but theatre is a dog eat dog world, and nothing turns out as Sharpay expects, especially when she meets her match in a rather daunting Broadway starlet.
