High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale's films and music have inspired a modern-day Peter Pan.
The actress/singer reveals one teenage fan recently wrote to her to reveal her performances had inspired him to audition for a part in a school play - and he landed the lead.
She says, "It's great to be able to touch peoples' lives. We actually had a boy come over to us and explain how he got the courage to audition for a school musical after watching our movie. He was a basketball jock who ended up getting the lead in Peter Pan."
But Tisdale admits she can never get used to the noise Hsm fans make around the world when they meet the stars of the films: "The High School Musical fans are very passionate wherever you go - and they have exactly the same screams."

The National Military Family Association (NMFA) helps prepare spouses and children of American troops, including those who have been deployed, wounded or fallen in action, to deal with the challenges unique to military life. High School Musical 3: Senior Year Extended Edition is finally here and seeing this film in widescreen with it's picture and sound quality looks amazing!
This 2 disc set looks spectacular. The Menus are gorgeous, designed to look like the inside of a year book. They are very fitting to the movie's theme and navigation is fluid. This disc features the "Fast Play" option which allows you to skip menus if you like and goes directly into playing the movie and then all the special features after the movie is over.
Audio options include English, French and Spanish and the Subtitles come in English for the hearing impaired, French and Spanish.
The introduction to the Deleted Scenes by Director/Choreographer Kenny Ortega really show how these scenes add to the movie.
A built in Sing Along menu is in the Special Features section, so you can pick by song.

It's All in the Dress displays the detail in the beautiful attire of our favorite wildcat girls.

For this review we covered the Extended Edition, although take note there are 3 different DVD packages. The single disc edition contains just the movie without the digital copy and the Deluxe Extended Edition has not only the DVD but the digital copy and the Blu-Ray DVD which we can surmise has even more special features.
With the graduation of the Senior class we all see that it may be over, but don't be sad just yet. Word has it that Disney is in the works of a High School Musical 4. Although no true wildcat will wanna miss the opportunity to own this huge event in High School Musical.

"High School Musical 3 is awesome,"
admits Ashley Tisdale, who plays pink-lovin' Sharpay in the movie. "I
was really thrilled to jump back into Sharpay's shoes because she's
such a great character. What's in store for the gang? Well, in your
senior year, you have college to think about as well as relationships.
Trying to figure out which path to take is tough."
STEP UP TO THE MIC!
The movie includes the first duet between Corbin Bleu and Zac Efron - a
song called 'The Boys Are Back'. "We had so much fun shooting those
scenes in the salvage yard," chuckles Zac. "You also get to see a young
Troy and Chad, which is very cool."
PROM NIGHT
"The third film sees the gang's graduation and their prom," reveals
Ashley Tisdale. We get to see Zac wear a cool tux and the girls glam it
up in style. "My prom dress is feathery, pink and rhinestone, so it's
fun and really cool," giggles Ashley.
You dance, sing and act in High School Musical 3 - but which of the three do you prefer?
Ashley Tisdale: I'm definitely not a dancer. I can move well,
but it's more about the acting and the singing for me. Acting and
singing are completely different, so I can't say which one I love
better because I love them both. I love acting because I get to play
different characters. But I also love my music because I get to portray
me. My fans can get to know me better through my music, which is
something I really like.
What music do you listen to at home?
Ashley Tisdale: Personally, I love eighties music. If I'm at a
party and someone's got an eighties compilation CD, I am the happiest
person alive! Apart from that, my favourite artists to listen to
include Michael Buble, Billy Joel, Britney Spears and Christina
Aguilera. I love all types of music.
Do you like to party?
Ashley Tisdale: Oh, sure! Who doesn't like a party? Mind you, I'm not the biggest party animal in the cast of High School Musical.
That honour goes to Corbin. He really knows how to start a party! He's
so outgoing and he loves to dance - he's always the first person on the
dancefloor.
What's the best thing about working in showbusiness?
Ashley Tisdale: I love my job! I really enjoy singing and acting, so a role in the High School Musical movies has been a dream come true.
Are there any downsides to being a successful actress?
Ashley Tisdale: The fame side of the business is a downside when
it intrudes into your life. We're passionate about what we do and we
love what we do, so I don't regret anything - but I can't stand the
paparazzi.
Are the paparazzi a pain?
Ashley Tisdale: The paparazzi are completely annoying! They camp
outside my house, which is really upsetting. Even if I just pop out for
a coffee, they will follow me. I love this industry and I love what I
do, so I guess this is just one thing you have to learn to put up with.
A few days ago, Sarah from Warner Bros. Records gave us some updates on Ashley's sophomore album, now we have more info about this.
"Ashley's pretty much finished recording.
She has a good handful of songs to choose from for the new album.
Although if some amazing song comes her way, of course she'll take the
opportunity to go back into the studio. For the most part though she's finished".
We also know that Ashley hasn't picked a title and a lead single for her upcoming album, but the photoshoot is on the way. We can expect a release date in one or two months.

Nickelodeon's TV movie/musical "Spectacular!" doesn't premiere
until Presidents Day, but the cable channel is quietly laying the
groundwork for a possible sequel.
"Spectacular!" writer James Krieg has been hired to pen a potential
second installment, which would be directed by Robert Iscove,
helmer of the upcoming original about a wannabe rock singer who
joins the school choir. A green light for the project is still a
ways away, but Nickelodeon is said to have high hopes about turning
"Spectacular!" into a franchise a la Disney Channel's "High School
Musical."
Additionally, Krieg and "Spectacular!" exec producer Jessica
Horowitz have set up "Den Brother," a two-hour movie, at Disney
Channel. The script will be adapted from an unpublished manuscript
by Michael Horowitz about a high school hockey player forced to
lead his sister's Brownie troop.
Also in the hopper is "After Midnight," an animated series Krieg is
producing with Jessica Horowitz and "HSM" co-star Ashley Tisdale,
which is being shopped around.
At Cartoon Network, Krieg has "Firebreather" in the works. Julia
Pistor is producing the project, based on an Image comic
book.
Krieg is repped by Endeavor, Industry and attorney Chad
Christopher.
Suite Life on Deck sweetheart Brenda Song recently took a break from shooting season two of her Disney Channel series to talk with MSN about what’s coming up next, Ashley Tisdale and Pass the Plate. Check out what the 20-year-old actress had to say:
On her love for the L.A. Lakers: “We are like 30-6,
so I believe we are number one right now! So, I can’t really say
anything. I think we’ll just continue on and think it’s definitely our
year.”
On the best advice she’s ever been given: “To this
day, just always treat people the way you want to be treated. Whether
it’s family or friends or co-workers, I think it’s the most important
thing. Whether you have success or don’t have it, whether you’re a good
person is all that matters.”
On BFF, Ashley Tisdale: “It was so nice to be back
on the set where we got close. I see her so much off the set as well,
so it was just like going back to The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.
It was just like going back to where we were at, and the episode is
great. Ashley truly is like my sister, so I miss her. It’s literally
like a huge family reunion. Not only do we love her as a person, but
she is also talented and so funny. We got to where we needed to be so
quickly because she is on top of everything. She is so good at what she
does.”
On hosting the multi-cultural series, Pass the Plate: “When I was first approached for Pass the Plate,
I was thrilled because I love to cook. I have a little brother [Nathan]
who is in one of the episodes as my sous-chef, and we cook all the
time. I cook Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. I love to cook. I grew
up in the kitchen with my family as the gathering place. Not only are
we telling kids about the benefits of healthy
eating, but we’re also showing them all the different kinds of
ingredients you can use and how diverse they are. So, I think it’s
really fun. I have so much fun filming the segments.”

There have been rumors floating around about the song "Blame It On The Beat." Just to clarify - this is NOT the name of Ashley's first single. So if you see information about it anywhere, it's false.
Ashley Tisdale looks behind her back as her dad, Mike, fills her car tires with air in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon (February 2).
The 23-year-old “Headstrong” hottie, who recently switched talent agencies, was seen in short shorts and white “Celebrate” swing tank. Ashley went away for the weekend with friends.
Ashley is currently working hard on her sophomore album, due to drop later this year.
Ashley Tisdale’s not only working on her fitness she’s also taking a big leap of faith. Ashley has left the agent that took her from nobody to somebody, Alex Yarosh at the Gersh Agency for CAA.
CAA is like the mothership in Hollywood, the table full of the most popular students that we look at longingly from our “outsider” tables and swallow our fish sticks. CAA is famous for poaching talent from the biggest agencies at their peak and promising them the one thing they need more of..movie stardom.
Only time will tell if Ashley has the talent to stay in the clique, it’s a risk to leave those friends who helped you become who you are.
Ashley Tisdale out and about yesterday (January 29)
Enjoying an active outing, Ashley Tisdale
threw on her “California Love” sweatshirt as she got a little exercise
in her Toluca Lake neighborhood on Thursday (January 29).
After finishing up with her midday stroll, the 23-year-old Disney
starlet changed into something a little more dressy before venturing
out with her mother Lisa.
Working up an appetite from earlier in the day, Tizzie and her mom
teamed up for lunch, choosing a laid back bite at Art’s Deli in nearby
Studio City.
Meanwhile, Ashley is currently plugging away at her upcoming sophomore album, which is due out later this year.
First off Ashley has not been doing much so news is slow right now, and I continue to look everyday but I am also very frustrated right now. It seems like I spend a few days every week, banning spammers and deleting spam comments, and then they keep changing their ips and writing more spam comments. I find it extremely rude to come to a site, and spam the comments. Its rude because not only do I have to add news on a daily basis, but then I have to spend more time deleting comments, and it seems like no matter how much I delete stuff, it comes back in greater numbers. And I beyond frustrated.

Ashley Tisdale doesn’t mind the attention her 1-year-old Maltese-Poodle mix Maui receives.
“Everybody that meets her falls in love,” the “High School Musical” star told People. “We call it Maui Fever.”
Tisdale says Maui knows how to wow a crowd as well as any veteran
performer. “When she gets excited, she starts to jiggle and tap dance
like the penguins from ‘Happy Feet,’” she says. “This dog has great
comedic timing.”
Unfortunately, Maui’s a little less accomplished when it comes to potty training.
“Because we were in hotels all the time and traveling when she was
little, she would want to go to the bathroom in the bathroom,” laughs
Tisdale, who totes Maui from city to city in a Louis Vuitton pet
carrier. “Still today, if I’m in an airport, she will go in the airport
stall.”
