Ashley Tisdale dyed her hair to reclaim her identity! “I am a brunette [naturally],” said Ashley, “So I feel like I’m back to myself again. Being a blonde is so much fun—I think blonde and brunette are both so much fun—but Sharpay really owns the blonde, so I feel like I’m back to Ashley.”

Ashley makes her way through the busy crowds to do some last minute shopping with mom Lisa at Kitson in Los Angeles, yesterday afternoon. Tizz picked up a pair of moccasins, a California Love sweater, a pair of cute jean shorts, and special holiday Kitson candle. Ashley also made her way out of the store with a couple pairs of boots.

Accompanied by her Disney co-star boyfriend Jared Murillo, Ashley Tisdale was spotted arriving at JFK International Airport in New York City to catch a departing flight.

The Disney darling looked a bit worn out as she clutched her beau’s hand, sporting a black I Love NY zip-up hoodie with a pair of distressed jeans and black boots.

Miss Tisdale was in the Big Apple to host this past Friday’s Z100 Jingle Ball along with “What’s Left of Me” crooner Nick Lachey.

And judging by the massive amount of luggage she brought with her, as well as the Louis Vuitton shopping bag she carried, Tizzie also enjoyed some retail therapy while in NYC.

Ashley and her dog Maui are featured in People Magazine this week. Check out their new photo in the “Stars & Their Pets” article in this week’s magazine on stands now.

When searching for a dog, Ashley knew she wanted a Maltipoo that was teacup-sized, and Maui was – literally! “When I first saw a picture of her she was actually in a coffee cup,” the actress says of her now 1 1/2-year-old pup. “She was so tiny and had this brown fur and a little white foot. I call it her lucky foot.”

The “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” hottie was looking super stylish as she arrived at Madison Square garden, sporting a floral printed free-flowing mini overtop a pair of black leggings with peep-toe heels.

Miss Tisdale served as one of the night’s hosts, along with “What’s Left of Me” crooner/former 98 Degrees member Nick Lachey.

And Tizzie’s arrival was just the beginning of the shindig’s uber-exciting festivities - stars like Rihanna, Ne-Yo, Brandy, David Archuleta, Jesse McCartney, and Chris Brown all took the stage for amazing performances.

Accompanied by her mother Lisa, Ashley Tisdale was spotted headed out for another long day of work in Hollywood, California on Tuesday (December 9).

Sporting her favorite red Ray-Bans, the “High School Musical” hottie loaded up into the car and headed over to a local photo studio.

Along with working on the finishing touches of her sophomore studio album, Tizzie also has a brand new movie in the works.

The 23-year-old Sharpay Evans actress will be showing off her acting chops in “They Came From Upstairs,” a film about “a group of kids must protect their vacation home from invading aliens.” The movie sees its theatrical release on July 31, 2009.

Enjoying a day out in Los Angeles, Ashley Tisdale was spotted meeting up with two entertainment industry men yesterday for a lunch meeting.

The “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” starlet looked cool and casual as she made her way down the street, sporting a white top underneath a grey cardigan with a dark cropped jacket, slim fit jeans, and a pair of UGG boots.

Over the weekend, Tizzie was a few hours south of LA in San Diego, getting a jumpstart on her holiday shopping along with her parents, sister, and boyfriend Jared Murillo.

As for her new album, Ashley reports that it’s “80% done” and that we’ll hopefully be hearing a new single early in the New Year.
